The Path To Our Future
Our industry has changed a lot in the last 10 years, but many things continue to stay the same. While technology and social media have changed the game for sourcing candidates, we have found that the constant within our industry is relationships.
We value our rolodex, second only in terms of value compared to our amazing team. What we have learned in the last 10 years is that ads can work, social media can work, and even employee referrals work. One important lesson that the whole industry learned is that you may be able to contact someone on LinkedIn, but it doesn’t mean that they are going to respond.
We know that the top 5% of talent never has to upload their resume to a database or apply for a job, they are recruited, most likely from a recruiter who has the connections to get to them.
One of our major goals for the next 5 years is to get offline, build deeper relationships with our customers and advocates, and bring a private network so strong that we can reach the unreachable. Much of this is being built through our Executive Career Management Agency, but it’s also a primary goal for our search consultants.
